Learning Skills Services include a number of resources to help students at Appalachian succeed.

During the fall and spring semesters, free one-on-one appointments on study skills topics are available. Students can set up recurring appointments with our learning skills tutors by going to 208 D.D. Dougherty Hall (the tutoring lab) to arrange for a weekly appointment with a learning skills tutor.

One time appointments on specific topics can be made by emailing Cama Duke dukecj[at]appstate[dot]edu or calling 262-3044.

Courses in study skills and reading are offered during the fall and spring semesters. .

  3. Find answers to your study skills questions.
  4. Learn on your own using our online resources and graphic organizers—there are a lot of tools you might find helpful.
